Joining forces for more IT security at home and abroad

Swiss Infosec AG is a consulting team and training institute in the field of integral security. This includes information security, data protection, IT security, crisis management, business continuity management and physical security. For more than 30 years, a team of over 30 specialists and with a total of more than 300 years of experience in consulting and training has accompanied more than 2000 security projects in Switzerland and abroad.

Swiss Infosec AG was looking for a partner to implement the Moodle learning and course management platform for its customers and chose the Zug-based IT infrastructure provider Xelon. "When choosing an IT partner, high availability, reliability and fast as well as competent support are extremely important to us," explains Ken Vogel, Head of Management Services at Swiss Infosec AG.

The highest data protection standards are guaranteed in Switzerland

The company's location in Switzerland was also a decisive criterion. In times of data leaks and hacker attacks, most companies understandably want to know where their data is stored. Xelon's infrastructure is located in ISO27001-certified data centers in Switzerland. "Access to data, as practiced by US companies without judicial oversight, for example, by means of the American Patriot Act, is not permitted in this country. Local providers follow Swiss data protection laws and can therefore guarantee the highest data security standards," says Michael Dudli, CEO of Xelon.

Xelon supports companies of all sizes in setting up, operating and maintaining IT infrastructure solutions so that customers can concentrate on their core business. In a personal discussion, the individual needs of the counterpart are elicited before implementation begins. Swiss Infosec AG took over the installation of Moodle at its customers independently. Xelon supported Swiss Infosec AG especially in the implementation of Moodle updates for Swiss Infosec customers.

Xelon takes care of updates and extensions

When it comes to customer support, Xelon attaches great importance to communicating at eye level. "It is important to us that we understand the initial situation precisely and can develop customized solutions in consultation with the customer. In the further course of the collaboration, we strive to keep the customer's back as far as possible and offer regular updates as well as support for any extensions," explains Xelon CEO Dudli.

For over 30 years, the Swiss Infosec team, with more than 30 specialists and over 300 years of experience in consulting and training, has been supporting small and large customers at home and abroad in well over 2000 projects in the field of integral security. Swiss Infosec AG advises and supports you in the identification and achievement of appropriate security goals and takes over the goal-oriented and practice-oriented training and further education of your employees. More corporate security thanks to convincing services with a 360° security perspective and a consistent best practice approach.
