To initiate the next phase of our company’s development while remaining agile, Xelon founder and current CEO Michael Dudli will pass leadership of Xelon to Cloud and innovation expert Roman Schweizer in November 2025.

After a two-month transition period, Michael Dudli will, as of early 2026, focus more intensively on further developing our Cloud management platform. As Chairman of the Board and majority shareholder, he will continue to play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Xelon. “After splitting the company into the two business units Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Platform two years ago, this step is the logical next evolution for us,” explains Michael Dudli. The division into two business areas has made Xelon more agile, allowing us to expand our product portfolio and continue to meet customer expectations in the future.

“The operational leadership of a scale-up is very time-intensive and remains one of the most rewarding tasks for me. At the same time, I see great potential to reach the next level technologically, and that’s exactly what I’ll be focusing on going forward,” says Michael Dudli. This leadership transition sets the course for continued growth and innovation in the Swiss cloud market. “With Roman, an accomplished Cloud and innovation expert is taking over the leadership of Xelon. I’m confident he will continue to drive our growing company forward,” Michael Dudli  adds.

The new Xelon CEO Roman Schweizer brings over ten years of successful management and tech industry experience. He has held leadership roles at Microsoft, at itnetX - a service provider specializing in Microsoft Cloud - and at a scale-up in the AI and robotics space. His most recent position as COO and CDO in the Startup and VC team of the Swiss law firm Kellerhals Carrard rounds out his profile. “In less than ten years, Xelon has developed into a leading provider in the Cloud sector. I’m honored to continue this success story together with the team and sincerely thank Michael for his trust,” says Roman Schweizer.
